Blythe, GA, (Sept. 30, 2008) – C4 Planning Solutions LLC, a Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) based professional services company, has been awarded a $117,576,413 indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract to design, integrate, install, and support Maritime Surveillance Systems (MSS) in support of the ongoing Maritime Domain Awareness enhancement effort. This effort provides foreign militaries with situational awareness through sensor fusion, target detection and classification capabilities. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command awarded the contract on behalf of its organizational partner, the Navy's Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence Systems. This contract includes one three-year ordering period with a two-year option period that would bring the cumulative value of the contract to an estimated $199,089,235.
C4 Planning Solutions will design, develop, and test integrated maritime systems at the contractor’s local integration facility in Blythe, Ga. Upon completion of successful integration and testing the contractor will deploy and install the systems at assigned foreign locations. Work also includes the development and delivery of technical manuals and training for delivery to the foreign nation prior to release of all equipment by the SPAWAR sponsoring activity. |
