K-Gen Developer™ C4 Systems Estimate

C4 Systems Estimate Tool was designed to create a technically sound Commander's Estimate of the Situation. The Commander's Estimate is developed to identify the C4 implications that are weighted by the commander. The C4 Systems Estimate tool will provide development of COAs. The merged C4 Systems Estimate document mirrors the most current JOPES format available. Additionally, the importing of a C4 Systems Estimate into K-Gen Developers™ K-Tool saves time and energy when creating an Annex K.

K-Gen Developer™ K-Tool

K-Gen Developer™ K-Tool was designed to produce an Annex K in a logical sequence. K-Tool uses built in rule sets and smart tools to aid the planner in creating a basic Annex K. K-Tool allows users to create detailed Appendix information, including tabs and exhibits. K-Gen Developer™ K-Tool also contains a feature called Quick-K. This add-on to K-Tool allows the user to create a basic Annex K in a short amount of time by allowing the user to select from a pre-defined list of information. K-Tool integrates with other tools from the K-Gen Developer™ Software Suite. C4 Systems Estimate information can be imported into K-Tool, which populates portions of the Annex K. K-Tool also integrates with SAR/GAR Tool. When the SAR/GAR Tool information is imported into K-Tool the Appendix 2 Major Equipment list and Appendix 3 Tab B information is updated with information from SAR/GAR Tool. Finally, K-Tool integrates with SmartLog. The information pertaining to SLDs and CCSDs is transferred back and forth between K-Tool and Smart Log.

K-Gen Developer™ SAR/GAR Tool

K-Gen Developer™ SAR/GAR Tool is designed to produce a technically accurate Satellite Access Request and Gateway Access Request message in the DISA/STRATCOM format. SAR/GAR Tool integrates a logical sequential information gathering process to our extensive knowledge of SARs and GARs. K-Gen Developer™ SAR/GAR Tool contains many built-in processes and smart tools to aid planners in creating an accurate SAR/GAR message. The equipment selection menu is based on the users selection of the mission frequency band. Our equipment selection process auto populates default information (modem type, antenna, size etc.) based on the terminal type selected. The SAR/GAR output document is formatted to the current DISA /STRATCOM standard. This message format is in a constant state of evolution and as the format changes, we provide updates via our Downloads page. Here at C4 Planning Solutions, we have developed a special web based version of our SAR/GAR tool. Because the SAR/GAR Tool is web based, collaboration is easily managed throughout the planning process. We currently provide this web based version to Special Operations Command located at McDill AFB, Florida.

C4 Planning Solutions SmartLog™

A watch officer is responsible for maintaining a log book and C4 Planning Solutions SmartLog™ automates the log entry process. Rather then hand writing each log, the watch officer can store the log in a database to allow easier reference to past logs. Watch officer login is done through an automated process and the selected director will be notified via email when a new watch officer logs on. The selected director also receives a copy of the previous watch officers logs entered. C4 Planning Solutions SmartLog™ will not allow any users to make modifications to any logs or the database which stores the logs. By password protecting the database, we can insure a list of logs that have not been modified in any way.

C4 Planning Solutions Kwik-Check™

C4 Planning Solutions announces the development and availability of Kwik-Check™ Developed with the Microsoft® Empower for ISVs program.

Kwik-Check™ is a lead planner's C4 planning checklist tool. Kwik-Check™ integrates comprehensive, predefined checklist items needed for tactical plan development. Coupled with a graphical user interface, Kwik-Check™ provides context sensitive referential help, reminder notes and task delegation in addition to assigning a status to the critical pieces of the planning puzzle. This provides the lead planner and other planners involved in the tactical C4 plan development an unparalleled collaboration environment throughout all phases of the C4 plan development. Kwik-Check utilizes Microsoft® Outlook™ to assign and send tasks to different team members. When these tasks are completed and the status is updated, Kwik-Check™ can import the new status back into the checklist for the lead planners benefit. With the creation of tasks the lead planner has the ability to track all parts outstanding relating to the Annex K. The lead planner can even submit a reminder relating to a task and upon opening MS® Outlook™ will receive the reminder.

Note: Kwik-Check™ will only run on Microsoft platforms (Windows 2000/XP) with the Microsoft .Net Framework installed. Kwik-Check™ was developed under the Microsoft® Empower for ISVs program and is currently available for release.
